The board and parts ShutterBridge runs on.

ShutterBridge targets two board options - pick whichever you already have:

Waveshare ESP32-S3-Zero

ESP32-S3FH4R2: 4 MB flash, 2 MB PSRAM, native USB. Other ESP32-S3 boards may work but are untested.

Waveshare ESP32-S3-Zero

ESP32-C3 Super Mini

ESP32-C3FH4: 4 MB flash, no PSRAM, USB-Serial/JTAG. Other ESP32-C3 boards may work but are untested.

ESP32-C3 Super Mini

You’ll need

  • One of the boards above.
  • A flight controller running Betaflight 2025.12 or newer with a free UART.
  • A supported action camera - a DJI Osmo / Action, or a GoPro HERO9 or newer.
  • A data-capable USB-C cable for flashing.
  • A soldering iron, basic soldering skills
